Delete Private Calendar account
The quickest way to delete your account is directly in Private Calendar: in the browser under Settings → Account & Sync → Delete account; on Android and iOS under Settings → Account & security → Delete account. After you enter the confirmation phrase, your password and a verification code sent to your email address, deletion is scheduled for 48 hours later; during this time you can cancel it with your password.
What is deleted?
- the account and all active sessions and trusted devices,
- all encrypted calendar blocks and key containers on the server,
- all shares and invitations involving the account.
Final deletion takes place only after a waiting period of 48 hours. Until then, your account and data remain intact. Afterwards, outsourced encrypted blocks are blocked immediately and permanently removed within 30 days. Encrypted full backups are also removed within 30 days. Invoice data subject to statutory retention is kept until that period expires. Evidence of confirmed cancellations is retained independently of the account until the end of the third calendar year following the declaration or, if later, the contract end; outstanding tasks are kept until completed. A technical control record containing no email address or calendar content remains temporarily until offsite deletion and any required subscription termination are complete, and is deleted 30 days later. You must remove data on your own devices or in files you have exported yourself.
Delete account via email code
Enter your account email address. If there is a confirmed account for this, we will send a twelve-digit code to exactly this address. The code is valid for 15 minutes.
After entering the code, deletion is scheduled after a waiting period of 48 hours before deletion — it is not carried out during this period. Every signed-in device shows a notice; cancelling the pending deletion requires a signed-in session and your account password. Never enter your password, 2FA code or recovery key on this page.

Without cancellation, the active account and calendar data will be irrevocably deleted at the specified time. The legal and technical follow-up steps described above remain unaffected.
Privacy
The confirmation code will be sent to the account email on file. There is only a hash of the code on the server; the code automatically becomes unusable after 15 minutes. Unknown email addresses receive the same neutral response. To protect against automated misuse, this site also loads the Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection.
