Central contact point according to Articles 11 and 12 DSA
Private Calendar is a hosting service within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (DSA). The central contact point for direct electronic communication with the authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Art. 11 DSA) as well as for users of the service (Art. 12 DSA) applies uniformly:
- Contact point
- info@privatecalendar.de
- Alternative way
- The contact form provided above
- Languages
- German and English
Communication with the contact point does not rely exclusively on automated tools. Entries are read and processed by a natural person.
Reporting of illegal content in accordance with Art. 16 DSA
Information about suspected illegal content can be submitted at any time via the above contact point. In order for a report to be sufficiently precise and justified, it should contain:
- a reason why the content is considered unlawful,
- as precise an indication as possible of where the content can be found, such as the affected account email address, the time or the reference from an invitation email,
- name and email address of the reporting person; excluded from this are reports of crimes in accordance with Articles 3 to 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU,
- confirmation that, to the best of your knowledge, the information is accurate and complete.
Technical limits of review: Calendar content is end-to-end encrypted. The provider does not have a key and cannot view the title, location, description and participants in the encrypted calendar blocks. A content check of stored calendar data is therefore technically impossible. Actions are possible at the account level (such as blocking or termination) as well as in relation to the data that the server processes in plain text, in particular email addresses and invitations to shared calendars.
The receipt of a report will be confirmed immediately. The reporting person will be informed of the decision made and the legal remedies available, stating the reasons (Art. 16 Para. 5 DSA). If an account is affected by a measure, the person concerned will receive a justification in accordance with Article 17 DSA. Details on content restrictions and procedures are provided in the Terms and conditions.

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
