A fair price for real privacy

Unlimited use of Private Calendar’s Premium features for the duration of the subscription: up to 25 owned calendars, sharing your own calendars, external iCal subscriptions, 500 MB of storage, multiple scheduled reminders, task deadlines with a daily overview, two colour palettes for calendars and entries, and up to 15 booking links that let others see free times and request an appointment. Premium includes the working time counter: for up to three work calendars that you select, a working time window displays the whole day’s working time minus the statutory rest break of the selected country, as well as elapsed and total working time for the current week. The counter is available in the desktop browser and in the Android and iPhone apps, but not in the browser’s narrow phone layout. Event duration next to the time is free regardless. The counter is a display aid and does not replace working time recording or employment law advice. Premium also includes the sleep window: the first timed event of the following day and your chosen sleep duration determine when you need to fall asleep. The time leading up to that is shown as a separate block in the day and week grids, with an optional notification when it starts. If the following day has no timed event, nothing is calculated or shown. This is a display aid and does not replace medical advice. Twilight is also included: the date and a location of your choice are used to calculate sunrise and sunset, with night, twilight and the golden hour shown as a faint layer behind the day and week grids. The calculation happens entirely on your device; your location is neither requested nor transmitted. In the browser, this display is available only on desktop, not in the narrow phone layout. It is also available in the Android and iPhone apps. The times are accurate to within a few minutes and serve as a display rather than a timekeeping tool. A booking link shows only times with no event and creates an event only after explicit acceptance. External iCal subscriptions attempt an automatic update no more frequently than approximately every six hours, exclusively through a signed-in Android device or iPhone, provided the platform permits background work and the network and source are available. An explicit “Refresh” in the app fetches the source immediately. The link and source content are synchronized to the server only with end-to-end encryption. Notifications may be delayed or prevented by the operating system, browser, permissions or power saving rules and must not be the sole means of monitoring critical deadlines.

Germany: The stated prices are total prices per billing period. VAT is not charged under § 19 UStG. Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland and Sweden: The stated prices are base prices; applicable taxes are added for new orders. After you select a country, we show the base price, tax and total price. Link calculates the final tax from your billing details before you complete checkout. Existing subscriptions retain their agreed price object.

The subscription initially runs for a fixed term of one or twelve months and can be cancelled at its end. It then continues indefinitely, cancellable at any time with one month’s notice, without another full-year commitment. For an annual subscription, we refund prepaid time after the contract ends on a daily pro rata basis, from the contract end date to the end of the paid period. Germany is billed directly through Stripe. In Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland and Sweden, Link (Sold through Link, LLC; Stripe Managed Payments), as merchant of record, handles payment, invoicing and taxes on behalf of the provider and adds applicable taxes to the base price for new orders. Your contractual partner remains Private Calendar – Julius Kramer. Select your actual billing country before ordering. Other countries are blocked for new subscriptions. If the country reported by Stripe does not match the payment route or is not supported, we do not accept the order and refund any amount already paid in full. Your free account remains unaffected.

You have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal and receive the full amount paid, without deductions or compensation for time already used. The fastest option is automatic online withdrawal in two steps: email code, then an immediate refund. The withdrawal instructions also provide the direct manual form and model withdrawal form. Both remain available through the “Withdraw from contract” button in every page’s footer and, during the withdrawal period, in the web app under “Subscription & Payment”. By clicking “Subscribe with obligation to pay” and completing payment through Stripe, you submit a binding offer. The contract is concluded when we accept that offer. We do so with the order confirmation by email (a durable medium), containing all contract details and the withdrawal instructions. Your contractual partner is always Private Calendar – Julius Kramer. In Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland and Sweden, Link (Sold through Link, LLC) collects payment as merchant of record on behalf of the provider, issues the invoice and remits taxes. We check the billing country and payment route: Germany is billed directly through Stripe, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland and Sweden through Link. Other countries are not accepted. If the billing address reported by Stripe does not match the payment route, we do not accept the order, no contract is concluded, and any amount already collected is refunded in full.

Once signed in, you can review the plan and displayed details again and correct them using the selection above. “Subscribe with obligation to pay” opens the Stripe payment process prepared for that plan. There you can check and correct your name, billing address and card details before completing payment, or cancel the process and return here.

The contract languages are German and English. Contract documents and the order confirmation are issued in the language selected for account emails. The applicable documents are the Terms and conditions and the Privacy Policy. The version applicable when the contract is concluded is frozen. You receive it, together with the complete pre-contractual information and withdrawal instructions, as an immutable text file attached to the order confirmation. The same version remains permanently accessible through the link provided there. Before ordering, you can save these pages using your browser’s print or save function.

The web app requires a current browser with JavaScript enabled, Web Crypto and IndexedDB. An account, synchronization and Premium management require an HTTPS Internet connection and an accessible email address. Browser synchronization and reminders work only while the application is open. Automatic updates of external iCal subscriptions require the signed-in Android app on Android 8.0 or newer, or the signed-in iPhone app on iOS 17 or newer.
