Without tracking

What we don't do with your data.

Private Calendar is financed through Premium subscriptions, so there is nothing we need to analyse about you.

No advertising

Neither in the web app nor in the apps for Android and iPhone. There are no advertising networks and no advertising IDs.

No analytics tools

No audience measurement, no analytics or advertising trackers. The apps also do not contain third-party crash reporting libraries.

No external integrations

Fonts and images come from our own server. When you open the page, no requests are sent to third parties.

No cookie banner

Only what is technically needed for sign-in and calendar is saved. No consent is required for this.

Logs gone after 7 days

A technical access log is for security purposes only and is deleted after seven days.

Appointments always encrypted

Even we can't read your appointments. They are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded.

The only third-party integration: Cloudflare Turnstile protects the contact form and the forms requiring no sign-in for account deletion, cancellation and withdrawal against bots. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Features

Everything a calendar needs – without spying on you.

Appointments, tasks and reminders, neatly organized. And underneath, an architecture that treats your privacy not as an option, but as its foundation.

Store and sync end-to-end encrypted

For storage and synchronization, your events are encrypted on your device before being sent to the server. Calendar and master keys reach the server only in encrypted form, never in plain text.

This is how Private Calendar protects your appointments

Encrypted before it leaves your device.

Calendar content is stored as encrypted blocks. With external iCal link subscriptions, the server receives neither the private link nor the source content in plain text.

Encrypted on your device

Every appointment is encrypted locally with AES-256-GCM before it is synchronized.

Sync encrypted

The server only stores calendar content as encrypted blocks. Link subscriptions are loaded directly from a signed-in Android device or iPhone.

Only you have the key

The key stays with you. Without it, the data remains permanently unreadable – for everyone.

Check open source cryptography yourself

The published security modules are open source under Apache 2.0. Source code, specifications and verification steps are available.

Pricing

Start for free. More if needed.

Both plans use the same end-to-end encryption. Premium increases limits and adds iCal subscriptions, which the Android and iPhone apps retrieve directly and encrypt before synchronization.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

Is the calendar really without tracking?
Yes. There are no analytics or advertising tracking tools, no external fonts and no advertising networks. The technical access log is for security purposes only and is deleted after seven days. Everything else is in the Privacy Policy.
How is the free plan financed?
Through Premium. If you need more calendars, calendar sharing, iCal subscriptions or booking links, you pay for them. We do not make any money from your data.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in Germany, under European data protection. There is also a geographically separate, exclusively encrypted offsite backup in Switzerland.
Can I use Private Calendar for free?
Yes. The free plan includes two calendars of your own and 25 MB of storage, with no time limit. That's enough for tens of thousands of appointments, or ten appointments per week for many decades. Premium is optional, increases limits and adds features such as calendar sharing, iCal subscriptions and booking links.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You simply create an account and get started. You only need a payment method if you later choose to upgrade to Premium.
